It\u2019s pumpkin time! There\u2019s pumpkin everywhere. Pumpkin coffee, pumpkin bread, pumpkin pie, pumpkin soap, pumpkin ice cream, pumpkin Oreos, pumpkin cinnamon rolls. Is there anything that isn\u2019t pumpkin these days? Staying true to the theme, here are five great pumpkin songs for you and your children to enjoy together this month!<\/p>\n

I like to add a craft and some motions to this song. For \u201cround and fat,\u201d simply motion your hands to shape a round and fat pumpkin. At \u201cjust like THAT,\u201d snap!<\/p>\n

Another activity you can do is to make paper jack-o-lanterns. I printed mine, but you can certainly make one with construction paper. One side is a plain pumpkin and the other is a Jack-o-Lantern. Flip to the Jack-o-Lantern at \u201cjust like THAT!\u201d<\/p>\n

OK, I\u2019ll admit it. I have no activity for this, it\u2019s just a fun little song that we have been singing here for years. You could use your pumpkin craft again and put eyes or turn the smile at the times of the song, but this song is a bit quicker paced and short (just over a minute long). It\u2019s a fun one for free dance and singing.<\/p>\n

I use crafts for this one! We build our own little pumpkin faces and build the faces during the song. Still, everyone\u2019s favorite part seems to be when the pumpkin whispers \u201cHappy Halloween!\u201d at the end.<\/p>\n
